Crockett & Crockett Paving is an established family-run paving, landscaping and outdoor construction company based in Caterham, Surrey.

For more than 27 years, we have delivered driveways, patios, landscaped gardens and increasingly comprehensive outdoor projects for homeowners throughout Surrey and the surrounding areas.
Our reputation has been built through consistent workmanship, clear communication and a commitment to constructing every project correctly from the ground up.
We remain personally accountable for the work we undertake, while having the experience, resources and specialist knowledge required to manage substantial, multi-element projects.

What we get right
The Work Beneath the Surface Is the Work That Matters.
Almost every drive or terrace that fails does so because of what is underneath it. Too shallow a dig, no membrane, a sub-base that was never compacted in layers, or falls that send water at the house instead of away from it. None of that shows on the day it is finished. All of it shows in three winters.
So we dig to depth, lay a geotextile membrane, build the sub-base up in compacted layers, and set the falls before a single slab or block goes down. Edges are haunched properly, because an unrestrained edge is what lets the whole surface creep.

The yard
Caterham, and Half an Hour Around It.
We are on Stafford Road in Caterham, which puts Warlingham, Whyteleafe, Woldingham, Coulsdon, Purley and Kenley within a few minutes, and Oxted, Godstone, Reigate, Redhill, Banstead, Lingfield and East Grinstead inside half an hour.
The ground changes a great deal in that half hour, from the chalk of the North Downs through the greensand around Oxted and Godstone to Wealden clay further south. It is one of the reasons we keep our working area compact: we know what we are going to find when we start digging.

About the Company
How long have Crockett and Crockett been trading?
Twenty-seven years. Oli Crockett started laying paving in the late nineties and the company has been building driveways, patios, brickwork and whole gardens across Surrey ever since. The company number is 11258847 and the registered office is 393 Stafford Road, Caterham CR3 6NP.
Are you accredited?
Yes. We are on the Marshalls Register of Accredited Landscape Contractors and Driveway Installers, we are a London Stone registered installer, and we are a Bradstone assured installer. We have also been Checkatrade members since 2016 and hold 10 out of 10 there.
How do you manage specialist trades?
Our core paving, landscaping and groundwork is delivered and managed by Crockett & Crockett. Where specialist trades are required, these are coordinated as part of the wider project, maintaining clear communication and responsibility throughout.
Are you insured, and do you do commercial work?
We are fully insured for both domestic and commercial work, and every member of the team is trained in health and safety. We take on insurance work as well as private jobs, and we are happy to work to a specification or a drawing if one has been drawn up.
Does a quote cost anything?
No. Oli comes out, measures up and puts a written price together, and that is free whether you go ahead or not. There is no obligation and no follow-up pressure.
What does the Marshalls accreditation cover?
Being on the Marshalls Register means our installation work has been assessed and we are approved to offer the Marshalls guarantee on their products. That guarantee covers the materials for ten years. It is separate from our own workmanship, and we are careful not to run the two together when we quote.
