Do you charge for a quote?

No. Oli comes out, measures up and sends a written price with the materials named on it. There is no charge and nobody rings you afterwards.

How long does a driveway take?

Most drives are on site for one to two weeks depending on the size, the dig and the drainage. You get a start date before we begin and we keep to it.

How do you manage specialist trades?

Our core paving, landscaping and groundwork is delivered and managed by Crockett & Crockett. Where specialist trades are required, these are coordinated as part of the wider project, maintaining clear communication and responsibility throughout.

What is the difference between porcelain and sandstone?

Porcelain is dense, frost proof and very hard to stain, so it stays looking new. Indian sandstone is warmer, riven underfoot and suits older houses. We will show you both laid nearby.

Can you build a garden room as well as the paving?

Yes, and it is one of the growing parts of the business. We dig and drain the base, build the room, run the power and lay the paving around it, all as one job.

Do I need permission for a new front driveway?

If the surface is permeable, or the water drains to a border or a soakaway rather than the road, you normally do not. A dropped kerb is a separate application to the council and we coordinate it.
